For 41 years, HIX Corporation has been a major manufacturer of custom industrial ovens and dryers. The HIX brothers first built an oven to dry inks on money deposit bags in 1963 at their Pittsburg, KS automotive shop. Word spread of their quality and efficient design, so HIX Corporation was born. As the company grew, products were engineered and manufactured for screen printing, heat applied graphics, and custom ovens that were used in many different industries.

In 1989, the company was purchased by the current owners and operates from a 111,000 square foot facility with a completely integrated modern operation including engineering, aluminum foundry, CNC milling machines, welding, metal forming, fabrication, and assembly.

HIX now engineers and manufactures over 70 different products that are represented by 180 distributors in 60 different countries worldwide. These products include screen printers, exposure units, screen frames, flash cure units, dryers, ovens, heat press transfer machines, Flock heat transfers, dough presses, tortilla presses, and many accessories for these items.
